An 11-year-old boy presented to the pediatric emergency department with a 1-day history of swelling and severely painful erythematous to violaceous nodules on the soles of both feet, which were limiting his ability to walk. The lesions were accompanied by low-grade fever (38°C) but no other systemic signs or symptoms. There was no history of trauma, drug intake, or a previous episode of the condition. Family history was negative for a similar condition.
