The squamous cell carcinoma that could arise in the follicular occlusion triad has been reported in nearly 30 cases (Camisa, 1984; Dufresne et al., 1996). The peripheral arthritis is associated with follicular occlusion triad, and the rheumatoid factor and HLA-B27 were absent in these patients (Ellis et al., 1987; Thein et al., 2004).
