Family Medicine Forum once again provided a wonderful opportunity for family physicians from across Canada to recognize the achievements of some of their most outstanding colleagues. The Honours and Awards program continues to identify, support, and reward family doctors who demonstrate their commitment to our discipline through participation in and leadership of important practice, research, and educational initiatives. We know from the applications and nominations that the winners are not alone. They represent and mirror the efforts of hundreds more who also deserve awards. That is why it is so important for all of us to support the College of Family Physicians of Canada’s (CFPC) Research and Education Foundation (REF)—the only charitable organization in Canada dedicated to supporting family doctors and the specialty of family medicine. Your donations will enable us to continue to increase the number and value of these awards.
Congratulations to the following students, residents, and family physicians on receiving 2006 REF Honours and Awards.
