A 73-year-old man presents to your office complaining of a gradual decrease in vision in both eyes over the past 1 to 2 years. His vision is particularly worse at nighttime. Distance visual acuity is 20/50 OD and 20/40 OS. Slit-lamp examination after dilation is shown in the above image.
