We believe that clean technique is sufficient for punch biopsies and acrocordectomies. In fact, a recent study showed no difference in outcomes using clean technique for simple laceration repairs. Thank you for your question.

Thank you for the video. It appears that you are just using a bottle of OTC drysol, unsterile gauze and an OTC razor blade. Are you using any sterilizing procedures, or just using "clean" technique?

Do you reuse the bottle of drysol once it has been opened? Have you had any concerns with infection? Sterile technique seems to be used in most of the other videos in your series.

Congratulations to the CFP and the authors for entering the multimedia realm. This kind of content is sorely needed and a welcome addition to an excellent publication. The video contained all the required information and was suitably brief - well done.

If I may, however, take the role of armchair critic for a moment - why the music, and why that music? I expected a masked villain or a SWAT team to burst into the scene at any moment. It was so distracting I had to watch the video a second time (on mute) so I could pay attention to the procedure.

Because I believe all critics should be able to put their money where their mouth is, could the CFP please publish (or point me to) formatting guidelines for Video submissions?
