Seems that is the article you should have wrote - a honest one about how you are not being trained properly, not the low brow, frat boy crass comments you chose to express yourself with.

Trust me, we know many doctors aren't thrilled to do a pap - don't you think we can sense that lying there with our legs akimbo? We are not 'hapless' victims to be pitied - we are patients, people, mothers, sisters, and daughters having to go through an annual uncomfortable experience that sometimes can leave us feeling violated and sore.

When you, Dr. Thoma realize that Pap smears are ALWAYS more uncomfortable for the patient than they possibly could be for the Dr. perhaps then you have indeed learned a lesson.
