Congratulations to Walt Rosser and Marshall Godwin on their evaluation of their Five-weekend programs. Not only have you initiated an innovative capacity building program but you took the time to evaluate it! I recently attended a CIHR sponsored meeting at which an evaluation of a targeted funding program was presented. I was particularly impressed with the data presente as they actually tracked the participants' subsequent research productivity. While knowledge of the research grant success of the five weekend participants would presumably not be within the realm of the authors, it would be very instructive to report on the publication record of the participants. The organisers presumably have the participants' names and the record of their publications would be in the public domain.
