She has been to numerous doctors and supposedly the best vulvo-vaginal doctors in the area since she was 15!!! Yes, only 15. It has been a very long journey. We have spent probably thousands of dollars on doctors and products. Yet the emotional toil has been unspeakable. I'm practically in tears imagining that there may be a solution so simple. I am bookmarking this article and will keep you posted on future results. Thanks so much for your research.

I just wanted to say Thank you. Thank you for your case study on a patient allergic to toilet paper. I have had debilitating symptoms for 5 years which effect my self esteem and marriage. I just wanted to say Thank you. Thank you for your case study on a patient allergic to toilet paper. I have had debilitating symptoms for 5 years which effect my self esteem and marriage. I have been to several doctors, had many tests, and have been told by my esteemed doctor to just used Canestan twice a month for basically the rest of my life (I'm only 34) - even though tests for thrush or Step B sometimes came back negative. When I approached my doctor about my belief that toilet paper was the cause, I was given a very quizzical look and was told "Well.... I've never heard of that before". This was taken no further by my doctor. I have searched and searched for more information, and most of what I have found is by those as medically challenged as me. So, Thank you again. You have given me the strength to carry on in my search for answers to my very personal problem. Sincerely, Toni
