A 40-year-old patient presented complaining of red eye and decreased visual acuity that had persisted for about a month. His medical history included recent trauma to the right eye with a tree branch, which was treated with topical antibiotics and steroids. On examination, visual acuity was 1/40 in the right eye and 20/20 in the left eye. A white-gray corneal lesion was found in the right eye, with margins that were not quite defined, corneal satellite infiltrate, and intense conjunctival reaction. Results of intraocular pressure measurement were normal.

The most likely diagnosis is

  1. Corneal leukoma

  2. Herpetic keratitis

  3. Fungal keratitis

  4. Anterior uveitis
