In the article “Nurturing a culture of curiosity in family medicine and primary care. The Section of Researchers’ Blueprint 2 (2018-2023),”1 which appeared in the May 2021 issue of Canadian Family Physician, 2 errors appeared. The correct text appears below, and the online version has been corrected.
With the goal of advancing primary care research, the CFPC [College of Family Physicians of Canada] established a Section of Researchers (SOR) in 1995, which now constitutes a large community of more than 1600 family medicine and primary care researchers across Canada.
Blueprint 2 particularly emphasizes the opportunity for many more clinicians to make additional use of their practice data for the purposes of practice improvement and to connect with research networks, such as practice-based research networks (PBRNs) and the Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network.
