Anxiety, long hours, and burnout are a few of the challenges contributing to the current crisis in family medicine, leaving family physicians to navigate a maze of considerations to find sustainable careers. In her editorial (page 872), Dr Sarah Fraser reflects on the situation, including factors associated with the pursuit of focused practices in family medicine, which are explored further in a research article (page 905). In her first column, CFPC President Dr Christie Newton intimates that collaboration and teamwork will light a path to guide family physicians through these difficult times (page 935).

L’anxiété, les longues heures et l’épuisement professionnel comptent parmi les problèmes qui alimentent la crise actuelle en médecine familiale, contraignant les médecins de famille à traverser un dédale de considérations pour trouver un parcours professionnel durable. Dans son éditorial (page 873), la Dre Sarah Fraser fait part de ses réflexions sur la situation, notamment sur les facteurs liés à la poursuite de pratiques ciblées en médecine familiale, dont il est question en profondeur dans un article de recherche (page 906).
