This series is extremely intersting and thought provoking. There are numerous comments I could make about each part. For now I simply want to observe that I am truly enjoying a doctor-patient relationship since starting to provide Virtual Health Care using AI.

It has taken my encounters with patients to a different level. I have a focussed eye contact with patients who often appear relaxed in their familiar surroundings .
The encounters are patient driven and the patients somehow appear more engaged as they often sit face to face discussing whet THEY actually want out of the encounter!
Somehow I get to bond with these "strangers" with a common agenda- how do I serve them the best? And how can they best help me achieve that goal?

A very well written and relevant article. When I practised family medicine I found it difficult to put into words exactly what the author has written even though I firmly believed in these ideals. I was very fortunate during my training to know Dr. McWhinney and he was the first teacher I had who skillfullly practiced family medicine in this way. Thank you for your insights.
