2022, Contemporary Clinical TrialsCitation Excerpt :Primary caregiver (or care partner) is defined as the person most responsible for ensuring the well-being of the person with dementia, whether providing direct care, managing the care provided by others, or monitoring their well-being at a nursing facility or other facility. Exclusion criteria include: [1] active psychosis or mania, [2] suicide attempt in the past 6 months or current active suicidal ideation, [3] cognitive impairment (MMSE <26), [4] unstable medical illness or planned major surgery, [5] substance use disorder in the past six months, and [6] mindfulness or guided imagery practice more than once per week in the past three months.
